Origin

Back in 2001, Eduardo Perales and Eva Rovira decided to create a motorcycle workshop and a motorbike store with a racing theme, focusing more on mechanics and engine preparation.

Many customers and especially pilots who lived in the area and raced in the territorial championship began to visit their shop.

As Eduardo had already worked in a motorcycle racing team in the world championship, some drivers asked him to accompany them to some regional races in the area. This way they ended up attending to races on weekends while working in the workshop from Monday to Friday.

This is when they decided to name the team Stop and Go, using a different logo than the current one, consisting of a motorcycle in motion and the words STOP and GO on each side.

First steps

In 2005 Stop and Go had its first direct contact with racing. The team worked without its own spot, assisting other teams that hired their services. In 2006 they decided to get their own spot and race in the 125cc category.

Jump to Moto2

Between 2005 and 2006 they signed a contract with Thai rider Ratthapark and moved up to the 250cc class. From then until today the Stop and Go team has competed in the 250cc class, which in 2010 was renamed Moto2.

Present of Stop and Go

This season we started with the Argentinean rider Gabriel Rodrigo and the Dutch rider Bo Bendsneyder. Unfortunately the rider Gabriel Rodrigo decided to abandon his professional racing career and we had to sign Taiga Hada, currently our Japanese rider.

Future of Stop and Go

Our plan for the next five years is to win the Moto2 World Championship, we plan to become champions and expand our team to participate in MotoGP.
